Cheryl Anne Watson

Cheryl Anne Watson, Partner, Co-Founder and part-time lawyer at Galluccio and Watson, LLP, focuses her practice in the areas of employment law, real estate law, zoning and permitting, and Probate and Family matters.  Ms. Watson, a veteran trial attorney, has substantial experience in trials, labor negotiations, court management practices and investigation processes.

Cheryl Anne has extensive experience in complex civil litigation and is uniquely familiar with sensitive issues unique to government procedures and investigations. As a former Assistant City Solicitor for the city of Cambridge and a current City Solicitor /School Counsel, she handles the prosecution and defense of civil litigation in state and federal court proceedings and administrative proceedings. For years, Cheryl Anne has been responsible for all phases of litigation on zoning matters, civil rights defense, employment matters, and personal injury suits before state agencies and the courts.  This supplemented the experience she had previously gained as a field attorney for the National Labor Relations Board, where she investigated unfair labor practices charges filed against unions and employers, issued complaints and dismissals, and negotiated settlements.

For five years Cheryl Anne acted as Assistant Regional Counsel II for the Department of Social Services, where she represented the Commonwealth in Juvenile, District and Probate Courts throughout Middlesex and Norfolk County in child custody matters.  She was responsible for all phases of litigating the adjudication of children in need of care and protection and the adoption procedures.

Cheryl Anne was raised in Cambridge and is a member of the Cambridge Alumni Association.  She spends her spare time mentoring high school students who are considering a career in law and has taught the Chelsea Futures Lawyers Class.

Attorney Watson works part time only and schedules her appointments personally.
